New World Makati Hotel

Pros: Great location and facilities. Rooms are quite large and very comfortable. Highly recommend the Residents Club.

Fantastic stay!

Pros: We had a very smooth check in after a 16+ hr travel time from the UK. The hotel is in a great location not too far from the airport and nearby malls etc. This hotel has probably the best water pressure that I have experienced in the shower. Wow! You could compare it to a small Karcher jet wash! The breakfast was delicious and offered a lot of variety. We were only there for two days but the staff were very helpful and attentive! Notable mention to Miko Cabrera for helping us with arranging our limited time in Manila. He also ensured we had a packed breakfast for our early morning flight to Palawan. Thank you so much!

Cons: Traffic! But you can't help it guys! It's Manila! Cebu is definitely worse!

Great hotel if you want to impress a partner.

Pros: The entrance drive and reception lobby are very big and impressive, and with all the staff greeting and helping you, you're in no doubt this is a 5-star hotel and you're an imposter (I felt like that anyway lol). The staff are all professional and attentive as you'd expect, they'll look after you. The room was big with a comfortable bed and nice carpet, sofa and good bathroom. The AC was manual Honeywell control I think but they are easiest for most of us to use and it worked well. The pillows were nice and soft. The lifts are great and the pool area and bar are lovely too. The coffee and cakes in reception are top notch. Location is great surrounded by big malls with loads of good restaurants and shops.

Cons: Not really anything to complain about at this place. However, the room had no universal adaptor sockets which take a UK plug which many other 4 and 5 star hotels in Asia have these days; the TV size and reception was not the best; and some of the furniture/worktops in the room looked quite simple and cheap painted wood not expensive luxury furniture although the hotel is very good value overall for what you get.

The beds are very comfortable, rooms are clean, staff are very friendly and helpful.

Pros: New World is just across Greenbelt 3 and walking distance to shopping malls like Landmark and Glorietta and the Catholic Church. Staff are very friendly and I was able to checkout late for a fraction of the cost.

Enjoyable and I'll be going back.

Pros: The staff was very accommodating. Loved the dining and the hotel layout and location. Food was fantastic. All around good experience.
