Thailand 🇹🇭

Renting a condo unit, not staying in a hotel

Pros: The condo staff has finally stopped being condescencing towards people leasing privately-owned units. The check-in procedure is quite easy too. Wifi is fast, although barely any signal in the bedroom. Good view from the balcony.

Cons: I've rented four different rooms and every single one of them has had water damage in and around the bathroom. Photos are fake i.e. units can be of different shapes and with different furniture. It's a shame because I am renting these places also for being able to work on my laptop on a decent table and chair.

Pros: A very special hotel in the heart of the city. Wonderful room, amazing views from the top pool, super comfortable beds, well equipped rooms, we had all we needed.

Perfect for a quick trip in and out of the city.

Pros: Location was right in Makati and while this is a busy part of town there's a mall literally next door as well as grocery and plenty of restaurants and spas. Pool and gym were nice.

Cons: I wouldnt say the downstairs sofa should be considered a bed as even for my small children it was extremely small and didn't even reach their feet. It's a loft bedroom that sleeps 2, the downstairs sofa bed isn't really appropriate for anyone over 6 years old. There's no way an adult would sleep on that or fit on it.

Great value for money and location!

Pros: We were surprised with how big the unit was. There were two rooms and it was complete with a kitchen and living room. Exceeded our expectations. It was also near a lot of shops and restaurants.
