Hong Kong 🇭🇰

Pros: The host was super nice and let me check in at 9 AM. The Terrace bar is the absolute highlight — such a perfect spot to end the trip on a high note!

Cons: The floor isn’t clean enough to walk on barefoot.

Pros: This is a really great and well managed budget stay. The little things make a difference. A waterfall shower head away from the towel hangers... proper hot water heater that gets hot, toilet paper and soap/shampoo are never out, strong AC, free water dispensers and cups.. The staff are great and helpful. Mouse, the resident doggo will keep you safe... not that you need it as this guesthouse is in a secured community. Very close to the airport so you don't need to fight brutal Manila traffic.

Cons: The location has its upside, but it's not very close to many food options. 7-11 13 minute walk away. But they just finished building the bar so you can imbibe and I'm told they are planning to offer cooked food soon. They are some long stay tourists here, but most are transient stay before your flight types and I think for that purpose this place is great. The bar is nice and once they offer food it'll be all you need in a budget stay before your flight.

Pros: Clean and good value if you have an overnight layover which is what we had.

Cons: Unfortunately the air conditioning in our room had a leak so if we wanted the AC on (which we did cause it’s quite hot and humid) we heard a drip all throughout the night. We told the property manager about this but by the time we arrived at night she said they would fix it tomorrow so we didn’t get the best sleep due to the dripping.

Pros: - Located in a quiet secured village - Comfy bed - Nice common social area - You can cook and do your laundry - Friendly Staff - Feels like home

Cons: - No restaurants nearby, though you can order food on grab and grocery store is about 300m away. Owner said they will open the bar soon and serve food
