Aruga Apartments by Rockwell Makati

It was very memorable at it included the Chinese new year celebration in Rockwell.

Pros: I very much like the location as it’s close proximity to Powerplant mall.

Cons: First day, my son saw a cockroach in the toilet door. This was very surprising as I haven’t encountered that in my stay on any 4-5 star hotels and apartments.

Pros: Breakfast a bit basic and not substantial. Could be more generous. But tasty and well made.

Cons: Wifi very annoying as it forces me to re-login multiple times per day. I stayed for 6 days and probably had to re-enter my credentials over 20 times.

Pros: I loved the size of the rooms, quite spacious. I also loved the location as it's got direct access to Powerplant Mall.

Cons: The sizes of the water bottles given, 4 bottles were just not enough each day as the water bottles were too small.

Relaxing and enjoyable stay

Pros: It is close to power plant mall and has direct yet secured access. Close to the marketplace to buy necessary items. The pool is also nice and well maintained.

Cons: They should have readied the kitchen amenities ready for the number of occupants. Although we requested for additional plates and cutlery and it was provided immediately. It is not a big deal but would be nice if that had been anticipated.

Aruga is well located and such a comfortable place to stay in.

Pros: Breakfast menu options were great. Food was delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Cons: There was a small cockroach in the toilet.

Pros: All the staff from doorman, front desk and housekeeping are helpful and accommodating. The location is excellent walking distance to Rockwell Powerplant mall. There's a variety restaurants to choose from.

good stay, please give me an upgrade next time to match your prices.

Cons: steep price, and no other hotel in Rockwell to choose and compare with.

Will keep coming back using the 1bed suite

Excellent stay

Pros: Aruga was fantastic. Great location and well cared for property.very safe to approach the street and walk around the area.the room is exactly as advertised and all pictures were accurate. The pool area was beautiful. Room was very spacious and clean and the beds and pillows were big and comfortable. Even the housekeeping went above my expectations washing our dishes and fluffing our beds daily. The staff were more than accommodating and did everything they could to make our stay pleasurable. Paul at the front desk and Ian on the door were particularly lovely and greeted us with big smiles as all staff did. Special mention to Paul who located my daughters phone she left in a grab car and made it his personal mission to have this returned. This went beyond our expectations but was so appreciated. Thankyou Paul. Staff took us on a little tour of makati in the buggy car which my kids loved. We will absolutely return and can't wait to stay at Aruga again.

Cons: There wasn't much not to like but a few suggestions for the room would be to have additional garbage bags and a dish rack to dry dishes would make things easier but this is a small non issue really.

Great stay!

Pros: The room is complete with furniture and they offered us an upgrade. The staff are all friendly and helpful.
