Good hotel in convenient location within BGC

Pros: The room was spacious and the bed very large and comfortable. The facilities were good, especially the very large pool. The breakfast buffet was great.

Cons: The room cleaning was annoying in that they came by too early in the morning when we were still there and then didn't come to clean the room later in the day. The breakfast buffet was usually quite crowded and not necessarily well managed.

Absolutely wonderful - clean, courteous, safe and central to BGC High Street

Pros: Excellent location in terms of proxmity to the Bonafacio Global City High Street, which from what I could tell is extremely safe and cosmoplitan, likely the most in all of Manila. The facilities and staff are top notch at this price point, and the clealiness and comfort of the rooms is impressive - the gym and pool area especially are fantastic and not tokenistic at all. I can't overemphasise the safety - High St and the surrounds is well-lit, populated by courteous crowds and there are security present, along with western shops and restaurants that are extremely reasonable for the most part. When you had to downtown Manila, especially after the sun goes down, the vibe shifts and being able to retreat to the 'enclave' of BGC makes a huge difference.

Cons: Manila traffic is, as you may have heard, the worst in the world (sometimes 2nd worst) - a Grab (and you will need to use Grab!) from Ninoy Aquino airport will take around 45 mins, even though it's about 15km. Not the fault of the hotel at all, but you will need to bear this in mind when preparing your itinerary for travel around the city. The fridge is at best a chiller, and without microwaves you are really going to need to eat out - which is a very pleasant option given that Manam, along with other awesome restaurants, are less than 5 mins walk away and the cost coming to Australia is about 30% how much we normally pay. That said, for those wanting a 'quiet night' in the room with a meal or from a supermarket, options will be limited. But you didn't go all the way to Manila just to eat in, right?
