Pros: - good location, Makati City has a nice vibe - you can use hostel facilities before check- in if you need to - quite clean in general

Cons: - staff at reception could be more welcoming and nicer in general - aircon is really loud and has bright lights on - in the room I was one bed was right in front of the aircon with no protection, impossible to sleep without turning the aircon off

Friendly Hostel, highly recommended

Pros: I had a lovely stay at Z hostel, the staff are very friendly in particular Gwen. There is a free walking tour everyday and the breakfast is good too, the location is excellent

Pros: It was great, met many people and had a good time. The roof is a wanderfull spot to hangout. The variety of options for breakfast was an unexpected surprise. Restuarants, cafes and night-life everywhere. The convenience is amazing especially as a first time solo-female traveler. I'll definitely return.

Cons: There is coffee but no tea as part of the inclusive breakfast. There were alot of people like me who dont drink coffee and wanted tea, so we had to just settle for juice. The simplest black tea would do.

It's perfect

Pros: No doubt, the best hostel in Makati, Manila. Awesome crowd, best hosts. The rooftop is so good, they have a bar at the roof top from where the whole skyline is visible. Met the best of the best travellers here. A free walking tour gives a great head start to the stay and the trip.

Pros: Clean ，Not expensive ，Free drinks On the roof，Breakfast included，Surrounding Streets is LGBT paradise，If Pataya is awesome, here is breathtaking.You can see,hear,feel people having sex in the share room. A guy in our room couldn't take that, For me is Ok at all. What more can you expect for your rent ?

Cons: room smelly, towel smelly as well.Staff try to use air spray cover it, But the smell is from the building not the hostel. The building is old, and the surrounding buildings is old 2.

Perfect hostel

Pros: Perfect for a few nights in Manila. The staff are wonderful: friendly and welcoming. The hostel is very clean. The hotel is quiet despite being very lively: rooftop bar, DJs on weekends, tours of the neighborhood during the day...

Cons: The air conditioning is a little noisy. The beds in the dormitories do not have curtains (but you can hang some up).

Clean, friendly, nice set up

Pros: I loved this hostel. The whole place was very clean but especially the toilets and the dorms. There is a toilet and shower in each room/dorm which is nice and easier than a big communal shower area. The staff are always cleaning and are very friendly. I did a free group walk around the neighbourhood arranged by the hostel which was fun and a nice way to meet people and learn about the city a little bit along the way. The rooftop bar has amazing views too. It’s a good location even if only for one night, so glad I decided to stay here.
