I will come back when in Manila

Pros: The neighborhood is safe, the hostel is 10min on foot to the LRT station. The place is very clean. Overall is a very simple place but good value of my money.

Cons: There is no toilet paper and no trash to leave the paper in the toilet.

Very good value for what you pay.

Pros: No breakfast at this price. Location for me excellent for I needed the us embassy near by. Air condition a real bonus. I have only been here one full day and have met some really nice people.

Cons: No soap in bathrooms. I am old and the top bunk was my only choice which is getting easier to negotiate but the very first attempt was a real challenge.

Good.

Pros: the location is walking distance from UN LRT station.

Cons: No wifi connection throughout my stay but the problem was with the telecompany

Doesn’t get better for 300PHP/night!

Pros: The hostel is good but not great. You’ve got Filipino workers basically residing there long-term so don’t expect anything social. The location is great for Metro Manila and it is located in a local and comparatively safe neighbourhood. Directly next to the hostel there is a great local (and ridiculously cheap) restaurant as well as a 7/11 if you get the munchies in the night. The security measures are outstanding and there are lockers if you have some stuff to store. The staff is available 24/7, speaks good English and is very helpful.

Cons: There aren’t enough toilets in my honest opinion. Two showers and one bathroom, so if a guy is having a long session you’re basically done for. For me personally it wasn’t a problem since I sleep like a stone but I could imagine that people would find the United Nations Ave. quite loud at times. There isn’t a kitchen and the share space is a table with 10 chairs. For people who love comfort I wouldn’t recommend this place, but if you look for something cheap and have been travelling through Asia this is absolutely doable!

Pros: The staff looked after me, I can't wait to hopefully return, the women who run it are all so inspirational. Great location,lovely other guests. Super clean and smiley people :)

What A Pleasant Surprise

Pros: I appreciated that the main door is electronic and could only be opened when a receptionist is present inside to press a hidden button. I also liked that the beds were big enough and had sockets by the wall. I particularly liked one of the staff members who was friendly towards me and quite accommodating. The cool aircondition is such a huge plus given the heat these days.

Cons: I have stayed in this hostel on two separate occasions within one month, and during my first time, I asked for a lower bunk bed and they said only a top bunk was available. They gave me my beddings for me to put up and set on my bed. Ad I was about to, I found out that the bottom bunk was available so I was able to request to a switch in beds. I just wish this was figured out before I checked in though. That's all. Also, the street outside had low lighting and would usually be filled with children and teens at various times of the day or night.

Comfortable bed with 24 hours aircondion

Pros: The staff here is really very friendly. The building is quite. No noise from out. Very clean. Comfortable bed with clean sheets. Aircondion 24 hours in the room and very good WiFi everywhere. Quick check in. Table and chairs. Power water in shower. I am happy here. If i come again i will stay again. I stay one night because for my flight next day but they don't tell me to go out. Thank very much.

Cons: One rules about light in the night. After quite time they must to tell for any travel that no accept to on the light 2-3-5 o'clock in the morning. They must to fix little the shower. General is very good building with good rules.

Best quality possible at this price, walkable to attractions if you have endurance, noisy street

Pros: Low price I don't know how you could do better at this price with air conditioned dorm, decent bathroom, reasonably comfortable beds, not the closest to US Embassy / Rizal park but it is walkable if you are sightseeing for most of the day

Cons: noisy street, not much of interest within shorter walking distance, no potable water, only one dining table as common area

Very nice chilled place

Pros: I love everything about the is property! Beautiful lovely helpful staff that are always here to help you. it’s very clean hostel with a great hospitality and environment. I highly recommend you to stay here!
