Good overnight stay in Malate for a Budget price.

Pros: Simple accommodation with all basics you need for a stay, including AC, WiFi, safe, spacious room for the budget price.

Cons: No windows at all in the room. Room cards need to be handed to over to the reception when leaving the hotel.

A weird set up, but safe and secure. Remember, it's a budget hotel.

Pros: I really didn't know what to expect. First impressions weren't good. However, the room (301) was clean and comfortable. It's a drive-in motel with themed rooms. Make of that what you will. I had and executive suite and it was big enough and a large bathroom. The bed is comfortable albeit a little softer than I'm used to. It's also a short-time hotel (no judgment). All in all, quite surreal but clean, comfortable and safe. I wouldn't stay more than one night.

Cons: The local area is undergoing major reconstruction. Sadly, there are a lot of homeless families in the area and some sketchy side streets. However, I didn't feel unsafe walking around the area. No window in the room. There is a wooden panel that may have a window behind it, but I couldn't open it. Checking in took a lot longer than you'd usually expect.
