Nomads MNL Backpackers Homestay - near Airport

Pros: The houselady was still up at 2am45 to assist my Grab. Can you imagen that. Watch it, some international flights are terminal 3 and then you can not walk there.

Cons: It is a basic non social airport hostel

Perfect stay if you are in waiting for your next flight!

Pros: Really nice place, so close to the airport. Staff is amazing and everything is clean.

Cons: The only problem was aircondition which was so strong that we got cold. But maybe we did not know how to operate with it. 🤣

Pros: You get what you paid for honestly. So for the price, i would say it was a pleasant stay. the room is small but clean as in no roaches. toilet was clean

Cons: however, the road to get there is not accessible by car so we had to drag our luggages to the entrance which were quite a hassle since our luggages were really heavy. and you have to climb up steep stairs to get to your rooms. blankets were paper thin.

Ideal for transit or just sleep / freshen up

Pros: Ideal for a quick stop rather than sit in the airport (I had 8 hours) Grab easy to sort to from airport for buttons Room clean and facilities as you would expect It is Down a side road / alley so you have to walk down from the narrow road , solo women travellers may find it a bit dark (and no sign at top of road)

Good value for money

Pros: Close to airport, nice and clean rom and bathroom. Easy self check in and out. Little noisy from the street with s rooster and early morning traffic. However, would book again. Good value for money.

Good place to stay for one night before my flight.

Pros: Good basic place to stay for a night before a flight. Close to terminal 1 Manila airport, 10 mins in taxi. Friendly lady who runs the hostel. Good communication via what’s app. Free water. They offer a few snacks to buy. Room is small but all you need to one nights stay. Good value for money.

Cons: It’s a struggle with heavy bags to get up the stairs. Hard to find if you have not been before. Could do with some signs by the road and outside.

Great choice for 1 night stay near the airport

Pros: If you are looking for a private room (rather than a hostel) for 1 night stay that's within a walking distance from Ninoy Aquino airport and for a reasonable price then this is the right place for you. The key word here is 'homestay' as you will be staying with a polite and friendly Filipino family in a small but sufficient room with an A/C (that's a must anywhere in the Philippines). The bathroom is shared and rather small but again, if you are looking for 1 night layover near the airport then this shouldn't be a problem for you. I had no issue with wifi, it was working well.

Cons: If this is your first time in the Philippines then you might find the neightbourhood bit scary or dodgy but the reality is that the locals are generally quite friendly and peaceful people.

Pros: Due to a delay with my flight, I arrived at the hostel at 3 AM. Since I couldn’t get in with the self check-in, I had to call the owner, and she came to help me in less than two minutes. Everything was very clean

Warm Welcome and Cozy Stay

Pros: My single room was small but clean, with air conditioning, making it cozy and comfortable. A special touch for me was waking up in the morning to the sound of roosters crowing. Overall, a friendly, clean, and cozy place to stay near the airport.

Cons: Some neighbors were noisy, but it wasn’t a major issue.
