Balay Sa Air

Great apartment, great location, very security, definitely recommend! Will book again on my return.

Pros: The location was quiet and peaceful, but within walking distance from bars, restaurants and nightlife. The host was very welcoming and helpful when I was looking for a parking space. The property was very clean and you could tell it was always well taken care of.

Cons: My only minor issue was the size of the bed. However, this is well advertised and explained prior to booking, and was a good size when I removed the pillows. Please note this is a very minor issue and did not affect my stay whatsoever.

Pros: It's very cosy, there is everything that you could need for a longer stay, the projector above the bed is a really nice touch. We loved it

Cons: The location was too accessible everywhere! It was hard to choose between going out and staying in!

The best unit for me so far!

Pros: This is one of the best units I have ever tried so far. Everything was in order. Packed with loads of items so you would not worry about forgetting something because everything you need is already there. Clean and comfortable. Also near near mall, grocery and convenience stores. Owner is really nice and very accommodating. Answers back almost instantly to every inquiry. Staying 4 days was definitely not enough. Will surely return again. :)

Cons: Nothing. Everything is perfect.

Pros: It is in the center of Makati. There are lots of options for transportation. There are elevators designated for use to go to the unit/accommodation. There is a balcony overlooking the city. They have designated floor to fetch your food delivery, which is very convenient.

Cons: The tiny cockroaches is annoying. However, I think this is a building problem because I saw the similar cockroaches in the elevator and in the parking area. Better throw the trash to the collection bin everyday.

Pros: It was cozy with cute stuff inside. We also liked the projector, it was fun to watch movies on the bed. The host was very responsive to us and tried to solve our problems right away. Thanks a lot for their help 🥰

Cons: Since the apartment is narrow and full with stuff, it doesn’t feel very clean, it causes some bugs as well.

Pros: I absolutely loved my stay at Balay sa Air! As a solo female traveler who’s always on the go, I really appreciated how safe, comfortable, and peaceful the place felt. The location is perfect — quiet enough to relax but still close to everything I wanted to explore. The room was clean, airy, and beautifully styled with that cozy island charm. The staff were super friendly and respectful, always ready to help without being intrusive. I also loved that it felt like a little community — everyone was kind and welcoming, but I still had my own space and privacy. Balay sa Air was the perfect base for my adventures and downtime. Highly recommend it to solo travelers or anyone looking for a calm, authentic, and refreshing stay!
