Philippines 🇵🇭

Pros: The residence is great. The pool and playground area is great for kids. The location is great for activities in the city. Mall of Asia is less than a 20 minute walk. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful when questions arose.

Cons: This is essentially an Airbnb even though it is through Booking.com. The host is excellent, but you have to coordinate everything through the host- guests, swimming tickets. You will need to provide IDs, and the front desk must keep at least one ID while you are staying there. If you understand all of this up front, the place is fantastic. My family and I learned these things as we came upon each situation.
